Our National Governing Body "Bowls England" has recognised the importance of the welfare OF ALL involved in Bowls whether players, officers, staff, supporters and visitors. Excellent courses and support is now available to clubs and welfare officers to ensure EVERYONE FEELS WELCOME and SAFE in the sport of Bowls. I have learnt alot from the courses and continue to learn from the excellent support now available to myself as a welfare officer.

In the event of any Welfare or Safeguarding concerns at the club, Ian is the first point of contact. Ian has been one of the first Bowls Welfare Officer in the country to benefit from the new courses to train and support Bowls Welfare Officers. Ian will deal with concerns confidentially and will support and guide you in dealing with your concern.
