Deeds Trophy

We had an amazing turn out of 42 members signing up to play in the Deeds Trophy, first of our internal, Social, competition days played in a triples format.

All players kept their own score through out the afternoon and moved rinks and changed teams every six ends, a total of 18 ends played.

No one player played on the same rink twice, nor with or against the same people.....quite a mathematical feat! Well done Mike and Inger Newman and Stuart Wilson for organising it.

Kirsty Bishopp won the Trophy scoring a magnificent +27!!

As it was VE Day we celebrated by adorning the gazebos with Union Jack bunting, dressed in red, white and blue and played 1940's music whilst we bowled.

The afternoon was finished off with an extremely tasty meal of Lasagne, salad and new potatoes cooked and produced by Lisa our caterer here at Egham Bowls Club, a very fitting end to a fun and enjoyable afternoon.
